NOVUS is a modernised packaging solution system inspired by traditional apothecary jars. It is a reinvention of the 16th century pharmaceutical packaging with the intention of eliminating blister packaging from needing to be used for the prescribed contraceptive pill.
Through the implementation of an application that is in conjunction with a sustainably designed package would encourage consumers to be more mindful about their pharmaceutical packaging waste. The service combines a16th century invention, apothecary, with 21st century technology, that is, the application to use when requiring refilling a prescription and receiving reminders to name a few.
